What's Included?
Four Nights stay at Durslade Farmhouse, from the 22nd until the 26th of April, for the Spring Gather Workshop, April, 2019.
Your own private bedroom in the stylish and comfortable Durslade Farmhouse.
Each of Durslade Farmhouse’s bedrooms has its own unique character and style, featuring original artwork by Hauser & Wirth artists and locally sourced vintage furniture. With an emphasis on comfort, antique bed-frames with luxury mattresses, and Egyptian cotton linens, provide a relaxing stay at Durslade Farmhouse. All rooms have their own private bathroom.

The farmhouse will serve as a base for the duration of the Spring Gather Workshop where we will meet at the beginning of each day.

Breakfast will be included each morning. Check in time on the 22nd will be from 4pm and Check out on the 26th will be before 11am.

About the Farmhouse.
A six bedroom Farmhouse in the beautiful Somerset countryside, on the edge of Bruton. Durslade Farmhouse is located on the site of Hauser & Wirth Somerset and forms part of a group of Grade II listed farm buildings that date back from as early as 1760.

Renovated by Argentinian architect Luis Laplace, the Farmhouse is full of character and bold innovative twists. It celebrates the natural antiquity of the building combining original fittings with unexpected interiors and vintage furniture completed by unique artworks from Hauser & Wirth’s artists including a specially commissioned painted mural in the dining room by Guillermo Kuitca

On Foot
Hauser & Wirth Somerset is located on Dropping Lane, the Wincanton road just outside Bruton. From Bruton town centre, walk towards the railway station and under the railway bridge. Just past the bridge, there is a public footpath to the right through a field. Follow this uphill, across a driveway to the community garden area and cross the B3081 to reach Durslade Farm.

By Public Transport
Bruton is situated on the Bristol to Weymouth train line. Hauser & Wirth Somerset is a 5 minute walk from the train station. A direct train service from London stops at the nearby Castle Cary and Gillingham stations. It takes approximately 15 minutes by car from Castle Cary / Gillingham to Bruton. A taxi rank is available at the station entrances.
