Our own signature blend of coffee from our cottage. Carefully hand roasted here in Wiltshire. Each bag has been hand packed and signed by us. The coffee beans are responsibly sourced from socially sustainable farmers and supports their local economies. The coffee beans arrive here on english shores in recycled coffee pul[ green barrelts and are then roasted by eye and sound, by highly skilled roasters which know the precise moment the beans are ready. The unique EcoRoast process utilises specially developed environmentally friendly methods to complitley eliminate waste and minimise our impact on the environment by creating a carbon neutral roasting process.
Our Signature Coffee makes for delicious filter coffee with notes of raisins, cherries and milk chocolate, it is irrestably smooth and well rounded. Perfect black, where it's flavours shine through, but also fantastic with milk, almond or other non-dairy nut milks. It's medium roast also makes it ideal for making into espresso, with its sweet crema and minimal bitterness, try adding foamed milk to make the perfect cappucino. Its fruity and chocolatey flavour profile makes it the ideal choice for barista style coffee.
We recommend grinding it to a medium coarse grind using a Burr grinder. We use a DeLonghi™ KG79 Burr Grinder for our everyday coffee making. We recommend using a Chemex™ coffee maker for brewing our Signature Coffee. Gring 50g of coffee beans on a medium-coarse setting for every 750ml water, and adjust this for taste. It should take 3.5 to 4.5 minutes to brew the coffee using a filter process, use a finer grind if you find it's too quick or a coarser grind if it's taking too long.
